TROLLEY SQUARE IS LOCATED IN APPLETON ON OLDE ONEIDA ST.

In January of 2006 I was hired to be a consultant to the Trolley Square project. My role was to get constructed a Birney streetcar in Appleton colors. The winning bidder was Edwards Railcar Company which was able to locate a Birney body to restore into a stationary display. The rail for the display was supplied by Wisconsin Rail and Steel of Green Bay. Also I was able to locate a display of Appleton streetcar scenes that are mounted in lighted cubes. I refurbished the display and painted them in gloss black. The cubes will be stacked and will set next to the streetcar. I am currently looking for other Wisconsin streetcar and interurban photos to be displayed throughout the building.
